Experience the Leonardo Campus Run on June 24, 2015 with running distances from 555 m to 10 km for beginners, advanced and ambitious runners, employees and students at Münster universities, running and company sports groups, school classes, children and young people. Leonardo Campus Run - the big road race for Münster and the second largest running event in Münster after the marathon in September.
Over grass and sticks and stones
It is exactly 250,000 cm long - one lap of the Leonardo Campus Run. The route for the road race was officially measured by the German Athletics Association, allowing the results to be compared.
“Theoretically, world records can be broken on our route. Theoretically,” says Jörg Verhoeven and smiles. The head of university sports knows that this will never be the case due to the demanding route. "What is characteristic of the Leonardo Campus Run is the ever-changing surface. Sometimes it's over cobblestones, sometimes over grass or the running track," says Verhoeven.
