Fashion Week in Berlin exclusively...

They used to stand at the exit of the Platz der Luftbrücke subway station, looking helplessly up and down Mehringdamm: Where is an airport supposed to be? That was in January 2010, when Bread & Butter – the trade fair for streetwear – returned to the old Tempelhof Airport for its winter edition. The young designers now know this place and all the other cool Berlin locations. After all, they are here twice a year – in January and July – for Fashion Week.

It is unlikely that this event will pass you by. A striking number of young people walk through the streets very beautifully and very extravagantly. In winter, people are still usually dressed too thinly. Many people make fun of this, but behind it there is often a bit of envy at all the crazy events and shows.
