“A doctor's top priority should be to do everything possible for the health of his patients and to provide them with the best treatment. Dr. Martin E. Blake (Orlando Bloom) sees it differently. The young man works routinely in the hospital, makes diagnoses and prescribes medication - but in reality he lacks self-confidence and empathy for other people. When the young patient Diane Nixon (Riley Keough) is admitted to his ward with a kidney infection, his situation changes suddenly: the lonely Blake meets a woman who seeks closeness to him and understands him.
