In keeping with the DVD launch of “JONAS – The Film” on August 9th, 2012, we are once again giving away some DVDs. If you want to see how Christian Ulmen transforms into an 18-year-old student, you can now take part in our competition. You can also win a Kipling backpack.
The special thing about “JONAS – The Film”: For this mockumentary, Christian Ulmen went undercover for 6 weeks in a real school among real students and teachers. Of course, during filming he also had to write down real tests and endure oral exams.
“JONAS – The Movie”
Jonas (Christian Ulmen) is 18 years old and has been left behind several times. He has already failed two attempts at the secondary school leaving certificate. The Brandenburg comprehensive school Paul-Dessau offers him one last chance to graduate. His probationary period is six weeks. A decision will then be made as to whether Jonas' grades and behavior allow him to remain at school or whether he will have to live out his future life without graduating from school.
After the successful TV formats “My New Friend” and “ulmen.tv”, Christian Ulmen has this time embarked on a real adventure in feature length - and thus created something completely new: a subversively entertaining, highly amusing and refreshingly revealing reality comedy about an authentic comprehensive school project multiplied by the Feuerzangenbowle, which also has a special musical touch with the songs by DIE STERNE, Helge Schneider and DEICHKIND.
Available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc and as Video on Demand from August 9, 2012! Further information can be found on the film's official website .
