Festival guide: The summer festivals 2019
Summer is finally showing its best side: with sunshine and high temperatures, it's currently putting a big grin on our faces. It gets even better with the right soundtrack for summer life: Big beats and cool line-ups will once again attract thousands of music enthusiasts around the stages to party with the big and small acts. We'll tell you here which festivals you definitely shouldn't miss in the summer months of 2019, where there are still highly sought-after tickets and what you should definitely take.
July: DEICHBRAND Festival
Our hottest festival tip 2019: Fresh North Sea breeze and the finest music will be available from July 18th to July 21st, 2019 at the Deichbrand Festival in Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony). There has been rapid growth in recent years. The number of visitors grew to 60,000 in 2018. The line-up contains a good mix of well-known acts from the rock, rap and electronic scenes. So let's relax together, enjoy music and spend a weekend with like-minded music fans on the North Sea.

July: THINK Festival
On July 28th, 2019 you can listen to various music acts on three stages for thirteen hours on the Nordstrand in Leipzig. Embark on a journey of discovery through well-known and new sounds from various artists.

August: New Horizons Festival

Packing list for the festival
A festival weekend like this is always an adventure. You can arrive in different ways. You already put a lot of money on the table for the festival tickets. That's why you could save a little on travel costs by taking the train, Flixbus or rideshare towards the festival location. After checking in, you need to orientate yourself. Where can the camp be set up, where are the toilets and above all: where are the stages and how far are the distances between them. You can then decide when you can see which act. What should you definitely have with you on a festival weekend? We came up with the following items:
