Halloween is coming up soon. Time to get your costume out of the closet or think freshly about this year's outfit. To make all the make-up and costume effort really worth it, we have been on the lookout for the best Halloween locations and parties and will give you a brief overview of the biggest and most unusual Halloween parties this year.

The capital – Berlin

Museum of Natural History Berlin

Have you always wanted to drink a Bloody Mary surrounded by dinosaurs? Then the Halloween party at the Natural History Museum is probably just the thing for you! It impresses with a cocktail bar in the dinosaur section, flashlight tours and special make-up artists who give visitors horrific make-up.

Berlin Dungeon

Even if you've been to one of the dungeons before: Halloween in the dungeon is a completely different experience: instead of just a party, there's a whole Halloween show taking place here. From October 3rd to October 31st, 2014, the Cemetery of the Nameless will scare everyone. Also included: The gravedigger from the Grunewald.

Neon Halloween party

One of the biggest Halloween parties is taking place this year in the well-known Spindler & Klatt. Under the motto “Clear the ring – Circus of Freaks”, crazy circus clowns, monkeys and zombie pirates parade through the halls. Torture chairs, coffins and gravestones provide plenty of scary moments. Musically you can look forward to charts, house and R'n'B. Bonus: The team of celebrity hairdresser and make-up artist Dieter Bonnstädter will ensure your best scary appearance on site! Important: No entry without a costume!

The canteen

The “canteen” promises lots of spooky surprises with guaranteed goosebumps. What's special: There is NO costume requirement, so you can go even at the last minute and still enjoy the sight of many vampires, skeletons, witches and other scary creatures!

Ahoy Party Happy Halloween

Have you ever celebrated Halloween on a ghost ship? If not, then you can do it as quickly as possible on board the ghost ship RheinFantasie . Among other things, Marc Galves (known from 1LIVE & Amnesia Ibiza) will provide the Halloween party with the best party and dance tracks. Log in at 8 p.m. at the Cologne-Frankenwerft pier 1 (near Deutzer Brücke). “Cast off!” is the motto between 9 and 11:30 p.m. You can then continue celebrating in front of the backdrop of Cologne Cathedral until 2 a.m.

Halloween @ Cult Factory

This party is the right one for you if you don't want to commit to music on Halloween. From pop to electro to hits and gothic, you can choose spontaneously in the 20 clubs on site. And if you haven't been able to decide on a costume yet, that can also be solved on site: professional make-up artists will ensure your perfectly staged horror make-up using fake blood and wounds. With your ticket you can party in all of the Kultfabrik's clubs!

Frankfurt am Main

THE LAYOVER – DESTINATION TRANSYLVANIA (HALLOWEEN SPECIAL)

History will be made at GIBSON on Friday. An unprecedented special of a gruesome kind awaits Frankfurt, as it goes to TRANSYLVANIA, the birthplace of the undead, known as the home of vampires and the legendary Count Vlad Dracula!

Get ready for a Halloween special with vampires, zombies, ghosts and the undead! Musically, the international guest DJ from Bucharest, Adrian Eftimie, provides the best entertainment. Also on the turntables: Leonardo Aquino and Le Alan, who takes over the warm-up. Tip: Particularly elaborate and frightening costumes will receive quick entry as a small thank you ;)

Hamburg:

Home of Halloween @ Dungeon Hamburg

What could be better for a Halloween party than a house of horrors? The Dungeon Hamburg will celebrate Halloween at its best again on November 1st. This is ensured not only by two DJs who play a mix of current club music, chart hits and classics from the 80s and 90s on two floors - but also by selected residents who otherwise only get up to mischief in our basements. If you want to really get in the mood early in the evening, you can start a 90-minute tour of the Hamburg Dungeon from 7:30 p.m. The finest Halloween surprises are waiting for you here!

SWR3 Halloween Party 2014 in Europa-Park

Have you ever spent Halloween at a theme park? At the spookiest party of the year, zombies, vampires and witches gather again in Europa-Park. Also there: Mickie Krause, Horror Goes Clubbing, the SWR3 DJs Jochen Graf, Michael Spleth, Josh Kochhann and Michael Leupold, Big Dig & The Sidechicks and DJ Bobos Halloween Circus.
