When studying demography, you look at population development, birth and death rates, and broadly speaking about people. Not with fashion. This doesn't really matter to 24-year-old Anni ; she studies demography and writes about fashion and lifestyle in her friend Bina 's blog stryleTZ , talks about her travels and shares her favorite recipes. And because fashion never goes out of style, Anni and Bina are our bloggers and stryleTZ is our blog of the month for April.
Street , style and daily newspaper , these are the main topics of the blog stryleTZ , which 30-year-old Bina launched almost exactly a year ago. The idea for the blog had been floating around in her head for a long time, but in May 2013 the time had finally come and her blog book went online. Anni joined us in October and since then she has been posting regularly as a guest blogger about all sorts of things that have something to do with fashion, lifestyle, travel and cooking.
Anni really enjoys being able to distract herself from her time-consuming demography studies with blog posts. As she says, all the creative things that come out of her finally find a place somewhere. stryleTZ is not a 0-8-15 fashion blog, because blog mom Bina is convinced that a blog also comes with a certain responsibility towards readers. No matter whether 1 or 1 million. And so the topics of the blog are repeatedly examined from the perspective of sustainability and moral responsibility; The far-sighted section reports on social engagement in the fashion industry and the sister category, short-sighted, reports on fur production and unsightly accessories. Bina doesn't want to raise moral standards, but rather just encourage people to think.
Bina always wanted to do something creative and that's why, after school and several internships, she decided to study fashion design at HAW Hamburg. She graduated there in 2009 and has been working in the industry ever since. Although she enjoys her work, she sometimes misses the fundamental creative processes and, above all, the craftsmanship. And so the desire to find a new channel for her creative energy slowly grew within her. And this is exactly what flows into her blog stryleTZ after work and on the weekend.
When the two of them are not blogging, studying or working, they like to read other blogs themselves. Not just those about fashion, but pretty much every topic. The main thing is that the blogger is authentic and has a clear point of view, regardless of whether they share the same opinion, it just shouldn't be smooth and edgeless.
