The future - fascinating, unfathomable and full of surprises, is always just on the verge of being tangible before narrowly escaping reality. And yet – we can dream about it, imagine it colorfully and cheerfully and hope that the visions become reality.
If you are one of those dreamers and visionaries and think your opinion should be heard, the Foresight Film Festival on June 30, 2016 under the motto GAME CHANGERS is just the thing for you!
Who can participate and how does it work?
Attention filmmakers, researchers and project developers: Show your vision of the future in the form of short spots on the topics
- “Maker Scene”
- “Digital competence”
- “Future Labs”
and take part in one of the most promising projects – the future. You have until May 15th this year to submit your answer to the question:
“How will, how will we live?”
into a 30 second to 4 minute short film and impress the jury with your creative and forward-looking ideas. For detailed information about the task and the Foresight Film Festival initiative, click on foresight-filmfestival.de .
What is there to win?
Of course, your creativity and effort should not go unrewarded. Put in the work and be one of five lucky winners – the prizes are at a glance here:
- 4 x 3,000 euros
- 1 x young talent prize worth 3,160 euros
The 20-member jury from the areas of film, media, culture, research and business selects the best 5 short films for each topic and ultimately chooses the winning spot from each topic area. For this, there will be 3,000 euros each plus an award on the festival evening, presented by the BMBF. Another 3,000 euro winner will be chosen directly by the audience:
This is about the favorite spot of the 2nd film festival. The audience award is awarded by the DASA Working World Exhibition.
Finally, the best young talent contribution will be rewarded with 3,160 euros in the form of further training at the Script Academy Script, giving you a unique opportunity to experience the film world up close.
