Which clever minds are actually behind the machines that make harvesting more efficient and environmentally friendly? Johannes Höing, for example, an employee in the research and development department at the Claas agricultural machinery group.
Anyone who has ever driven across the country at harvest time will certainly know the combine harvesters, forage harvesters and tractors from Claas. The company from Harsewinkel in East Westphalia develops and produces innovative agricultural machinery - and is the European market leader in this area.
In order to start a career at Claas, for example through the International Trainee Program, courses such as agricultural engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or industrial engineering are ideal. At least as important: interest in agriculture, passion for high-tech machines and desire for international challenges.
Johannes Höing successfully started his career at Claas. The 28-year-old, a fan of tractors etc. since his childhood, now works in research and development. In the video he talks about his exciting tasks.
