The Westphalian Wilhelms University (WWU) offers its own scholarship for students in Münster. The ProTalent scholarship is your chance for individual support! An application is definitely worth it. ProTalent is based on the Deutschlandstipendium initiated by the federal government. The scholarship program awards students in Münster with a scholarship for their outstanding achievements. When can I apply for ProTalent?
You can apply for ProTalent as long as you are enrolled at the WWU and are within the standard period of study. The best students from each of the WWU’s 15 departments are supported. The scholarships are awarded regardless of income. For students from the 3rd semester onwards, the coursework achieved counts. First-year students apply with their school achievements.
In addition, all applicants' personal background, social commitment, willingness to take on responsibility or special social, family or personal circumstances are taken into account.
How are you selected?
The selection committee constituted as part of ProTalent and chaired by Vice Rector Dr. Ravensteins selects the right candidates after the application deadline. The selection criterion is primarily the performance of the students. In addition, special successes, awards and prizes achieved while studying in Münster can be just as important as social commitment. The same applies to personal or family circumstances.
