STICKS & STONES is taking place for the eighth time in a row this year - the largest LGBTI career event in Europe with over 3,000 visitors. Here you will meet over 100 employers from very different industries and from startups to large corporations. What they all have in common is openness and the statement: For us, diversity is part of our corporate culture.
Afraid of coming out at work? Dissemble or even deny yourself? Such questions won't even come up for the companies presenting at STICKS & STONES on May 27, 2017. Because they demonstrably promote an open corporate culture and are committed to valuing LGBTI people. This is still an important topic in the world of work: more than 10 percent of all young employees are LGBTI (Dalia study 2016), i.e. lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. STICKS & STONES offers committed companies a platform and wants to set an example to make LGBTI people more visible in the work context.
From startups to large corporations, over 100 exhibitors are taking part this year. These include Vodafone, BAD, Google, Allianz, Amazon, Axel Springer, Bosch, Bundeswehr, EY, Latham & Watkins, Pfizer, PwC, SAP and ThyssenKrupp. All together offer visitors more than 1,000 job offers. On top of that, you can get free coaching, have your CV checked by experts or have application photos taken.
At the future conference “The Next Unicorn”, more than 50 top-class speakers will give talks about the extent to which robots and artificial intelligence will change our working world in the future, which further training opportunities will be important in the next few years or how to support yourself in times of the AfD and Trump can use an open corporate culture.
The STICKS & STONES | Berlin Edition will take place on May 27, 2017 at SchwuZ and Vollgutlager. UNIGLOBALE is also there, visit us at stand 64 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The STICKS & STONES | will also take place for the first time at the Oktoberfest in Munich Oktoberfest edition will take place on September 16, 2017 in the Muffatwerk.
