World Student Games in Kazan
From July 6th to 17th, 12,000 students from over 170 nations will meet for the largest multi-sport event since the Olympic Games. This time the fight for medals will take place in Kazan, Russia, and in 27 sports – from badminton to diving. Around 100 German participants are also taking part on the sprint track, hockey field, etc.
The Universiades are organized every two years in summer and winter by the world association of university sports, the Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU). For everyone who cannot be there as a spectator: Eurosport will broadcast the competitions live.
