You have to apply for your BAföG again every semester. Great thing, money for studying. A little work in advance doesn't make that much difference. It's not just you who has to do the work, but also the person who receives, sorts, checks, stamps and sends on your Bafög application. It's a bureaucratic jungle, a waste of paper. Does this still have to be the case in the internet age?
