My name is Anouk and I am 24 years old. In November last year I completed my double BA in economics with a focus on tourism management, and am now aiming for a Master of Science in International Marketing from September 2014. I've been in London since mid-March because I won an internship at the media agency OMD UK in London in the December 2013 issue of UNIGLOBALE. In the picture above you can see me at my workplace in the Ad Operations team.
From the very beginning I was allowed to take part in meetings, for example with the communications planning team.
There is always a lot going on with our colleagues on the Digital Ad Operations team. Nevertheless, they took the time to explain the technical processes and technical terms to me.
The OMD UK agency headquarters in London's centrally located Minerva House, near London Bridge.
Me at British Afternoon Tea together with those responsible for a radio marketer and the communications planning team.
My colleagues and I at the internal charity event – including a raffle and lots of homemade cake! Also very popular across departments: the “Shakey Trolley”. Every Friday, shortly before the end of the workday, we toast the weekend together.
My small thank you for the warm welcome and the educational stay in the Communications Planning Team.
A bit of home away from home: there is a Kamps branch around the corner from the agency
