Under the motto “Tasty, cheap and fast” we want to cook with you every two weeks.
Hopefully you celebrated the first Advent properly at the Christmas market - now the countdown to Christmas is on. There's not much time left, but there's still so much to do: get presents and Christmas decorations and come up with something nice for the Christmas table. You can save time baking with this simple recipe for Christmas cookies:
Ingredients:
500g flour
250g sugar
250g butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 pack of vanilla sugar
1 lemon or orange (zest)
Preparation:
1. Knead all ingredients well
2. Form rolls out of the dough
3. Cut off slices about 1 cm thick
4. Place on a baking sheet
5. Bake at 175°C for 15 – 20 minutes
Cook's tip: feel free to mix some Nutella into the dough. This will make the cookies slightly marbled.
Bon appetite!
