Under the motto “Tasty, cheap and fast” we want to cook with you every two weeks.
Sometimes you get so caught up in wanderlust that you can't think of anything other than other countries with their sights, strange customs and unusual cuisine. That's why we want to take you on a little culinary trip to romantic Paris today.
OK, you can't bring the Eiffel Tower into your home, except perhaps in the form of a small, tacky keychain. You can try to conjure up “edible France” in your own kitchen. And nothing else is as good for this as an original French baguette.
For a baguette with filling you need:
1 baguette
6 cloves garlic (more or less to taste)
150g mozzarella
70g grated Gouda cheese
0.5 bunch of parsley
2 tablespoons softened butter
0.5 teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
1. Peel and press the garlic
2. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes and add the Gouda to the garlic
3. Preheat the oven to 200°C
4. Finely chop the parsley and add it to the cheese with the butter
5. Mix well. Salt and pepper
6. Cut the baguette in half, unfold it and add the cheese filling
7. Bake for about 10 minutes
Bon appetite!
