Household contents insurance abroad
When traveling abroad, you are often unsure which personal items are insured.
Allmaxx has developed household contents insurance tariffs in collaboration with ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG. These are specially adapted to the needs of students.
In principle, your household goods are insured with up to 10% of the insured sum in our various tariffs via the so-called external insurance, even when traveling. The insured items include, for example, your laptop, iPod, clothing, books, furniture, bags, CDs or cash (up to €1,000).
During a semester abroad or an internship, your room in the European community is even insured up to the full amount of the insured amount.
Worldwide, you are covered by so-called external insurance for a stay of up to 3 months at a time.
