ESN is one of the largest interdisciplinary student organizations across Europe, represented at over 400 universities in 36 countries. Founded on October 16, 1989, it promotes international student exchange. Around 29,000 young people are involved who look after over 160,000 international students every year. Under the motto 'Students helping students', they are contact persons for university and social-cultural matters.
