Studying in tune with the times: EMBA trains future industry experts in a practical way
Hamburg, June 2013 - Digital Designer is the name of the course for creative minds, lateral thinkers, courageous doers and innovative idea generators at the EMBA (European Media and Business Academy). Students learn about modern design in the digital sector and also receive solid training in the effective management of design products and companies. The design course at the EMBA creates an excellent foundation for a successful career in the future market of digital media.
Top-class lecturers from well-known companies and institutions pass on their knowledge in theory and practice - competently, well-founded, clearly. The Bachelor's degree program in Digital Designer offers insights into all industry-relevant management areas: Which design strategy is the right one? Which digital media service fits which product? What legal principles do I have to consider?
Not every design course offers students such optimal preparation for practice: At the European Media and Business Academy, students implement real practical projects from the first semester. They develop concrete ideas or entire campaigns for companies and agencies and learn how to deal properly with customers and partners.
Digital media design is one of the fields of work of the future. Because what is communication without concise visualization? EMBA lecturer Felix Thomas is also convinced of this: “The digital world needs creative communication solutions. The course provides answers to the question of how to deal with increasingly individual and interactive media consumption. Creativity and technology must enter into an even greater symbiosis. The EMBA students learn to develop a digital strategy that optimally integrates with the offline measures.”
The EMBA degree program to become a digital designer is part of the bachelor's degree program in Applied Media. The modules in the first to third semesters offer an initial insight into business administration, media and communication. The subsequent deepening takes place in the fields of interactive media, digital design, video production and audiovisual dynamics.
At the EMBA, the exams and assessments follow directly after the modules. This avoids a concentration of exams at the end of the semester and ensures optimal exam preparation. Very small seminar groups of a maximum of 16 to 20 students, individual advice on all questions relating to your studies and the optimal technical equipment (including MacBook Pro) offer the best conditions for successful design studies.
