What unusual name does Hans give his girlfriend?
The story
Hans calls his girlfriend “Heinz” – that says everything about their relationship. They are a completely normal couple whose love has gotten old. In fact, in the eighth. Hans works in the copy shop and Heinz, actually an actress, has degenerated into the voice of a cartoon traffic light. They spend the evenings in intimate togetherness, eating chips and playing videos on the sofa in sweatpants. In short: your relationship has lost that certain something. However, they only notice this when they go to the cinema on their anniversary; a romantic film is on the program. Only the romantic mood from the screen doesn't really spread to the two of them. When Hans willingly gives Heinz's ex-boyfriend her number instead of making a jealous scene, Heinz's alarm bells ring: This can't be real love! Pragmatic as the two of them are, they create a list of all the “things” that go into a cinematic love: romance, longing, passion, jealousy and drama – the big feelings. Highly motivated, Hans and Heinz begin to work through this list and realize: In real life, nothing is like in the movies!
