The story
In a near future, overpopulation and famine have led to a drastic one-child policy. As a result, seven identical-looking sisters (Noomi Rapace) are forced to play a game of hide-and-seek in order to escape persecution by the "Children's Assignment Office" led by the relentless Nicolette Cayman (Glenn Close). In order to survive, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the women were called by their grandfather (Willem Dafoe), must assume the identity of a fictional person - Karen Settman. Once a week, each of the sisters is allowed to take part in public and life on the day of the week whose name she bears, while the remaining six are trapped in the shared apartment. This goes well until one day Monday doesn't return home...
