Statistics are yawning again. And the presentation on “Introduction to Generative Syntax” doesn’t exactly blow your mind. When seminars or lectures are simply too boring, many of you probably go on mental journeys, plan shopping lists or play Angry Birds and the like. Not so Jody Steel. If the film production student (Emerson College, Boston) can no longer follow the professor, she takes her rollerball pen and paints her thighs in an artistic way. Zombies, animals and series character Walter White (“Breaking Bad”) are among Steel’s motifs. Before she washes the works of art off again in the evening, they are put online.
