The story
Orlando, Florida: Moonee is only 6 years old, but already has one hell of a temper. She lives with her young mother Halley in the run-down “Magic Castle Motel” and grows up right outside the gates of Disneyworld. Regardless of their difficult living situation, Moonee and her friends the same age declare the world around them to be a big adventure playground. While caretaker Bobby always keeps a watchful eye on the children, Halley fights for his daily income in a more or less legal way.
