Students as inventors
Inventors – they don’t always have to be older, “crazy” professors. This proved e.g. B. Ludwick Marishane, student at the University of Cape Town. His invention: a dry bath gel that enables millions of Africans to practice personal hygiene even without access to water. A group of Vietnamese students, however, developed the “MultiGlove”.
Multi-sensor glove that, similar to Microsoft Kinect technology, can remotely control objects quickly and precisely in a three-dimensional space. This will initially be used in computer games and later also in household appliances. And Germany is smart too. A Siemens trainee and three students from the Saarbrücken University of Technology and Economics invented the “Currymax”. The machine prepares currywurst at the push of a button within seven minutes.
