The story
The First Order's planet-destroying Starkiller Base is destroyed, but the New Republic is massively weakened. It is only maintained by General Leia (Carrie Fisher), for whom pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and the deserted ex-stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) also fight. JJ Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin are executive producers. Rian Johnson wrote the screenplay and directed.
