The moving action drama NO WAY OUT – AGAINST THE FLAMES with Josh Brolin, Miles Teller and Jeff Bridges will be released in German cinemas on May 3rd. The film is based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, whose selfless and heroic efforts to fight the flames made history. The story
Eric Marsh (Josh Brolin) is a firefighter with heart and soul and is currently training his 19-person team (including Taylor Kitsch) to become the renowned Hotshot Crew. This elite unit literally gets its hands dirty and fights fire on the front lines. When Brandon “Donut” McDonough (Miles Teller), who is struggling with drug problems, applies to Marsh’s unit, Marsh gives him a chance. McDonough quickly becomes an indispensable member of the tight-knit group. With the support of the local fire station chief, Duane Steinbrink (Jeff Bridges), and hard training, the team led by the experienced Marsh manages to become the official hotshot crew and from then on fights forest fires throughout the region - until these tragic events occur comes that will change everything forever...
Director Joseph Kosinski has already demonstrated his talent for visually stunning productions with “Tron: Legacy”, the script comes from Ken Nolan (“Black Hawk Down”) and Eric Warren Singer (“American Hustle”), producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has already drawn responsible for cinema successes such as the “Transformers” or the “GI Joe” series.
