The story of the well-off Prioux couple, who are suddenly confronted with a young man who pretends to be their son, is, right up to the last second, an amusing and subtle piece of cinematic entertainment that only French cinema can produce. The story
Monsieur Prioux (Christian Clavier) no longer understands the world. Until yesterday he led a contented and peaceful life with his wife Laurence (Catherine Frot). However, the comfort comes to an end one day when this strange guy named Patrick (Sébastien Thiéry) suddenly appears in the supermarket. Things get even stranger when Patrick later shows up in her shower unannounced and finally even claims that he is her son. Can not be. The Priouxs have no children! And yet everything seems to point to Patrick really being her son. Is the absurd claim a sick joke? Or is Patrick simply a clever fraudster? The Priouxs are faced with a puzzle.
