But when Michael's wife dies, He, Jane and the children promptly get help from the mysterious nanny Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt). She hasn't forgotten her magic tricks and also has a number of rather bizarre friends with her, including the optimistic lamplighter Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda) and Mary's eccentric cousin Topsy (Meryl Streep). Together they bring fun and wonder back into the lives of the Banks family...
MARY POPPIN'S WISDOM FOR A HAPPIER LIFE
MARY POPPINS is back! And with it also her wise wisdom, which not only enriches the everyday life of the Banks family, but also all of our lives. With her incomparably charming manner, she once again manages to put a smile on everyone's face, even when the day seems so gray. For the theatrical release of MARY POPPINS RETURN on December 20, 2018, here is a quick overview of her witty teachings:
You are always as old as you feel, because age is just a number and “you don’t talk about a woman’s age”!
Start every day with a smile and it will surely end with one - "Remember, before the day goes by, it's never too late for some fun!"
If Mary Poppins, with her limitless imagination, taught us one thing, it's that nothing is impossible! - “Absolutely anything is possible. (.) Even the impossible.”
If something seems hopeless, it is usually not as bad as it seems at first glance. - “The first impression is often nothing but appearance.”
If you think you've lost something or someone you love, remember: "Nothing is ever lost and nothing is ever completely gone, it just moves on a little, just changes location."
Be brave and dare to make a change every now and then that no one would have expected - “When the world is upside down, the best idea is to just turn around with it.”
It all depends on the perspective! - “If you see everything new and differently, something else might happen!”
Win one of three packed fan packages when MARY POPPINS' RETURN hits theaters on December 20th!
