The story
The two Oscar® winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale play the leading roles in LE MANS 66 – AGAINST EVERY CHANCE, directed by James Mangold. The film is based on the true story of visionary American sports car manufacturer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and fearless British-born racing driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale). Together they fight against the intervention of their client, the laws of physics and their own inner demons to build a revolutionary sports car for the Ford Motor Company. They want to defeat Enzo Ferrari's dominant racing cars at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans in France.
