The story
Three years have passed since the Jurassic World theme park and luxury resort were destroyed by dangerous dinosaurs. Since humans had to flee Isla Nublar, the remaining dinosaurs have asserted themselves as the undisputed rulers of the jungle. But when the island's volcano, thought to be dormant, begins to bubble, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) must return to save the last dinosaurs from extinction. The rescue operation turns out to be more dangerous than expected, as lava is already raining down on the island's quake-stricken terrain when they arrive. While Owen desperately tries to save his raptor Blue, the remaining expedition members discover a conspiracy that could catapult the earth back to the hostile state of prehistoric times.

“Welcome to Jurassic Park”
Fans of the cult series will immediately hear the legendary Jurassic Park theme when hearing this sentence. With these four words, which visionary John Hammond (unmistakably embodied by acting legend Richard Attenborough) uttered in a succinct voice, the park was (unofficially) opened to the viewer and the way into a prehistoric world that had never before been seen so realistically was clear. There weren't just Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) deeply impressed...
“Life finds a way”
Birth control through prenatal gender reassignment? For the genetic engineers behind the scenes of “Jurassic Park” this is an effective means of keeping the species population constant. Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) has doubts early on. With “Life Finds a Way,” the charismatic chaos theorist got to the heart of his assumption and created one of the most famous quotes in film history.
The T-Rex appears
She is the epitome of terror, but at the same time THE cult dinosaur of the Jurassic series: The T-Rex rose to superstardom immediately after its appearance in the franchise. The fearsome carnivore largely owes its popularity to its legendary first appearance: the vibrations in the glass of water, the increasing fear that erupts with an enormous bang and unleashes the loudly roaring T-Rex on the cinema audience.
Dieter Stark resigns
Peter Stormare always plays devious characters with irresistible authenticity. Even as Dieter Stark in “Forgotten World – Jurassic Park”, the second part of the franchise, Stormare manages to play an antagonist that you won’t quickly forget. But this largely has to do with the way in which he dies: the little “compies” he provoked take revenge on the big game hunter using their means. Small, but...aaaaahhhh!
The T-Rex has to get back on the boat!
An angry Tyrannosaurus mother, determined to get her young back by any means possible, is rampaging through San Diego. Luckily Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) is at the start! Together with Dr. The unorthodox scientist races through the city with Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) and the tied baby T-Rex in the back seat. Goal: To bring the dinosaur mom back to a cargo ship so that the dinosaurs can be transported back to Isla Sorna. A fast-paced sequence for the ages.
Raptor Round Up
The raptors are among the most popular dinosaurs in the franchise. No wonder, as they are very ambivalent animals: on the one hand, merciless killers, on the other hand, highly intelligent, social creatures. The proof of this can be seen in Jurassic Park III. Here the raptors do everything they can to get back the eggs that were stolen from them. The scene in which the squad led by Alan Grant (Sam Neill) is surrounded by the raptor clan and gets the eggs back from Amanda Kirby (Téa Leoni) has permanently changed the image of the nimble dinosaurs. Real family pets, these raptors.
Raptor Whisperer Owen
Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) knows how to establish himself as the alpha male of the raptor pack in “Jurassic World” with a lot of effort and even more risk. When a colleague falls into the raptor enclosure while feeding, it is only thanks to his courageous intervention and his calming effect on the animals that he makes it out alive. How Owen deals with “his” velociraptors and keeps them in check is already legendary.
High heel sprint
Anyone who keeps their high heels on while climbing and running through rough terrain while also trying to escape from a dangerous dinosaur deserves respect. Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) manages to do this playfully in “Jurassic World” – and of course she keeps her high heels on even when she lures the T-Rex for the final fight.
Final mega fight
Cult dinosaur T-Rex, cult dinosaur Raptor plus (modern) cult dinosaur Indominus Rex - the most epic film finale of all time is ready! In “Jurassic World,” a genetically modified super dinosaur is “built” that breaks out and causes terror. But just as you sometimes fight fire with fire, here dinosaurs compete against dinosaurs. This fight of fights shook the screen and immediately became a key scene in the entire franchise - especially because of the surprising fight ending, which won't be revealed here ;).
This summer, JURASSIC WORLD: THE FALLEN KINGDOM not only sees a reunion of familiar heroes, but it's also gearing up to outshine all that's come before, with more dinosaurs than ever before and a new, mind-blowing species.
