The story
In the second part, the once sinister Gru (voice in the original Steve Carell / in German: Oliver Rohrbeck) fell in love with Agent Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wiig / Martina Hill) and out of love for her and his three adopted daughters Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Nev Scharrel) switched sides: together with his wife, he now fights villains. These include Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker / Joko Winterscheidt), a super-villain and 80s fan with shoulder pads and a mullet who is after a giant pink diamond. While Gru is busy hunting Bratt, he is visited by his twin brother Dru (also Steve Carell / Oliver Rohrbeck). He not only has a full head of hair, but is also more successful and self-confident than Gru, who doesn't even have his minions under control - and that really annoys him! But then Balthazar Bratt strikes a vicious blow and the unlikely brothers have to pull together to save the world.
