The story
Christian Vogel was 34 years old when he fulfilled his heart's desire: to circumnavigate the world on a motorcycle. He gives up his apartment and quits his job as a television journalist. Having just fallen in love, saying goodbye is particularly difficult. It is uncertain how long he will not see his girlfriend and family. The departure into the unknown begins on May 19, 2015. Ahead of him lies a route that leads, among other places, through the USA, Canada and Russia. It also passes through China, Mongolia, Pakistan, India and Iran. The journey not only contains spectacular moments and unforgettable experiences, but also immense dangers. Time and time again, it is helpful people who support Christian Vogel in seemingly hopeless situations and bring him closer to his goal. A serious accident in India ultimately presents him with perhaps the greatest challenge of his life. Now he tells the moving story of his journey around the world and somehow also about what life is actually about.
