Based on the case of American exchange student Amanda Knox, “The Eyes of the Angel” is about a spectacular murder trial. The young director Thomas Lang (Daniel Brühl) is sure that he has found the material for his next film in the accusation against the American Jessica Fuller (Genevieve Gaunt). He slides deeper and deeper into the mysterious murder case until he no longer knows what is true and what is not.
