The story
She was just so sweet, so cute. But shortly before her 14th birthday, daddy's little princess suddenly mutates into a stubborn puberty. The journalist Hannes Wenger (JAN JOSEF LIEFERS) takes time out to raise his daughter Carla (HARRIET HERBIG-MATTEN) during this difficult phase of her life and to keep her away from alcohol, boys and other temptations. But that's easier said than done, because his wife Sara (HEIKE MAKATSCH) goes back to work and Hannes is extremely overwhelmed as a father. Be it a party, camp or Carla's first time: Hannes unerringly steps into every faux pas. It's little consolation that other young people also have embarrassing fathers: Hannes' best friend, the tough war reporter Holger (DETLEV BUCK), would rather be shot at in the Middle East than let his grunting puberty drive him crazy at home .
