BROOKLYN – EINE LIEBE ZWISCHEN ZWEI WELTEN Gewinnspiel

BROOKLYN – A LOVE BETWEEN TWO WORLDS: Discover Brooklyn in the 50s and collect a film package

Escape the cold winter weather by making yourself comfortable in the cinema seat and immersing yourself in another world - that sounds wonderful, right? With BROOKLYN - A LOVE BETWEEN TWO WORLDS you'll definitely succeed: Saoirse Ronan (pronounced "Sir-scha") enchants as the young immigrant Eilis Lacey, who leaves her home behind to start a new life in a foreign country.

Also in the cast is Domhnall Gleeson, who can currently be seen in almost every film (most recently in EX MACHINA and STAR WARS VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS). The director is John Crowley, who is responsible for several episodes of TRUE DETECTIVE, and the screenplay was written by the renowned author Nick Hornby (ABOUT A BOY).

I'm an English woman in New York

Eilis Lacey (Ronan), a young Irish woman, follows the call of the wide world and goes to New York in the 1950s to start a new life. From then on she tries to gain a foothold in Brooklyn, but initially suffers from strong homesickness and longing for her mother.

She finds love, which makes her grief disappear, but soon Eilis is faced with difficult decisions - between two countries and two opposing lifestyles.

BROOKLYN – A LOVE BETWEEN TWO WORLDS will be in German cinemas from January 21st.

We can't offer you a life-changing trip - but we can offer you a film package!

Do you want to experience Eilis' story in the cinema and for free? Then take part in our competition! In total we have three film packages, each with two cinema tickets and an Ireland travel guide, provided by Michael Müller Verlag.

Ireland - is the "Emerald Island" really a patchwork of unspoiled landscapes? Does every village have a pub? What makes Dublin the secret capital of English-language literature? How brazen do you have to be to swim in the waters of the Atlantic? And how do the Irish cope with the Celtic Tiger's belly landing? Ralph-Raymond Braun investigated these and other questions in his book published by Michael Müller Verlag. Further information at www.michael-mueller-verlag.de

To win, all you have to do is tell us a little about your adventures:
Leave your experiences about “Abroad – new love, new friends, new home” in the comment function below (just log in and start writing) and with a bit of luck you will soon be a proud film package owner! The competition ends on January 19, 2016.
